So Fall/Autumn (delete as appropriate) is officially here (not in the southern hemisphere. Here it is Spring!) and the colour palette has quickly gone from fresh and light to dark and sultry. As my first fall-inspired look, I decided to go for a colour totally outside of my comfort zone yet still strangely somewhat wearable. Burgundy, a reddish brown, is definitely not a shade I would rock on an everyday basis but for a special occasion where you want to look uber glam, I think it is the perfect shade especially for this time of year. Of course, as with all my makeup looks, I like to keep it wearable so I have teamed the dramatic eyes with a light, neutral lip. By all means, pair it with a darker, more bold lip if you want to amp up the drama. A deep vampy cranberry wouldn’t look out of place at all. Watch this space for more fall inspired makeup looks.
